Tourist accommodation professionals are required to register nights recorded at their establishments on the online declaration website, announce the Ministries of the Interior and Tourism.

The decision published on Tuesday, March 28, in Official Bulletin No. 6555, indicates that hoteliers must, first of all, complete a form on the site: www.stdn.ma.

Then, a file must be filed with the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN) and the Royal Moroccan Gendarmerie, containing the operating permit, the certificate of registration in the commercial register, the classification of the establishment, and copies of clients’ identity cards or their residence permits (for foreigners residing in Morocco).

The services concerned will be responsible for activating the hoteliers’ accounts if all the required conditions are verified. They will be given an activation password.

This decision is part of the modernization of the administration and the dematerialization of these services, in accordance with the provisions of Article 36 of Law No. 80-14 adopted by the Governing Council.
