Classified tourist accommodation establishments will no longer be required to declare overnight stays manually. An electronic platform has just been launched by the Ministry of Tourism, the Ministry of the Interior, the DGSN and the Royal Gendarmerie. This site (https://www.stdn.ma) allows classified tourist accommodation professionals to electronically declare overnight stays daily. Professionals are invited to register to better assess the evolution of overnight stays.
This involves replacing paper with a daily online tele-declaration. The approach will save time and provide visibility on the evolution of activity in the sector, it is indicated.
